If you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues these must always be taken into account. If you are a diabetic and not sure how certain foods may affect your blood sugars, test is best, i.e. use a reliable meter. If you have any concerns about your health, it is always advisable to consult your doctor or health care team.

All of those listed are good reasons to be tired. Underlying health conditions, autoimmune. Energy is my main consideration every day. I will look at the link you left in comments. Thank so much.
Oh my goodness, Jan, you couldn't have posted a better topic for me right now! I have been feeling pretty tired over the last few days. It has been pretty hot and humid here in Montreal. Thank you so much for sharing this! How timely!
...I wake up too early this morning and have been tired all day.
thanks jan, this is great and i really enjoyed reading it. it is always difficult to know, what is causing what. having multiple sclerosis, i blame everything on that, it is so easy to do. but i have learned that i need to be more proactive about some things, at the very least, going over symptoms with my primary and not just blaming everything on having ms. it's so important to be proactive!!
Thanks for the link to help in ensuring a good consultation.
My extreme fatigue is mostly caused by a medical condition - which sometimes means I don't pay enough attention to other triggers. My bad.
You've just made me go and drink some water. I do get tired, but a lot is to do with not eating enough probably because of my Invisalign. I know I'm also not keeping hydrated like I should.
Yes, tiredness, since I study, is a big problem. What do you think of Vitamin B12, might that help?
Once again,
a very useful article, Jan!
Especially now in the summer we need to pay attention to our hydration!
Nice article, Jan, informative.
Going to bed too late and not enough exercise combine to make sleep less likely to come quickly for me.
I wonder why so many people say they're tired in January and February? Is it something that stems from a latent hibernation tendency? I absolutely agree that if symptoms persist medical help must be sought. How did our forebears manage when diet was so very poor and work hours longer with grueling manual labour?
Great post, there are many reasons for feeling tired.
Take care, have a great day!
Always interesting to read. Thank you Jan and all the best to you too :)
Consuming too much caffeine and stress make me feel tired. Iron and magnesium are also essential for humans, as those minerals play a vital role in various bodily functions.
Great post, Jan!
I think sleeping patterns also change with age and it can take a while to adjust. Those are all reasons to consider.
Interesting
I think hydration is a factor that many people ignore.

Hello Iris, many thanks for your comment and question.
Tiredness can affect us all for one reason or another.
In relation to taking B12 or any supplement/vitamin.
I would ALWAYS recommend that you first talk to your Doctor or health care professional regarding this.
There is a 'BBC' article you may wish to read about Vitamin B12, find it here:-

All good reasons for people to feel tired. I usually have lots of energy. It seems my morning walk gives me energy for the rest of the day.
